Carrie Vaughn has requested help planning her Australia trip. I think this is such a stunningly good idea that I'm going to steal it.
So, what should I see? What should I not miss? I've got three weeks after the con in Melbourne. I love animals, hiking, breathtaking landscapes.

Personally, for animal lovers with some time, I highly recommend making the trek out to Kangaroo Island (about an hour's ferry ride from Adelaide). You can walk right up to the animals and when we stopped at a caravan for lunch, we looked up when we heard the screen door slam and discovered that a kangaroo had opened the door and was calmly sitting there munching on a roll!)
