Transformers Review (Not Mine)

Okay, I haven't seen Transformers.  I wasn't planning on seeing Transformers.  I pretty much hated the first one.  Then Walter Jon Williams, who is a nexus of power and all men acknowledge him, linked this this review on our chat group.

I literally laughed until I cried.  And now I think I have to go see this movie.

Don't.

Don't give that talentless racist hack Michael Bay another dime of your money ever again.

HA! Excellent review. There're so many bloggers who love this movie inventing black people sitting next to them in the theatre laughing thus making the racism ok, I'm almost tempted to see it. Susan Smith & Ashley Todd would approve.
Transformers: ROTF (Rolling On The Floor). A squillion thumbs up!

Don't waste your time or money, says Len, who went to the WGA screening with Bob Skir on Saturday. The best thing he could say about it was "I paid the right price [free]." The other was his bemoaning that he would never get those three hours of his life back. Nothing is worth that.

At Sunday Super Supper Squad, as we watched two dreadful pilots (one of which made it to the WB for the fall), the consensus is that everyone needed a "safe word" to be able to leave a dreadful film. I mentioned that you and I just looked at each other and left that screening of "Consenting Adults," but the others thought the safe word was a better idea. Erin says hers is the name of a character in a film she and Kay once attended. It was pretty funny.

Len's getting less tolerant of bad movies. He left The Spirit just 10 minutes into it. For Len to leave a comicbook movie (when he's only walked out of four movies in his life) means it must be unbelievably bad.
