Both of my trips to the lectureship were terrific. I hope you enjoy <i>Reflex</i>. Steve did an incredible job living up to the expectations set by <i>Jumper</i>. I thought it was a marvelous continuation of the story-- the characters are older, and their problems more sophisticated, in much the same way that I as a reader was older, with different problems in my life, than I was when I first read <i>Jumper</i>. Great stuff. Wish I could have been there this year. Both of my trips to the lectureship were terrific.

It won't ever go away completely, but it does lessen. And I still think a black man can win this fall. I just hope the Clintons are big enough to swallow their eventual defeat and get behind him if he wins the nomination.
